It’s still available: 22 ft. Custom Gentleman’s Racer
Built in 2012 by Done-Rite Restorations in Lambton, Ontario, this racer features an epoxy coated double layer plywood “no soak” hull. Book matched deck planking and many customized features add to this beautiful boat’s lustre, as does vintage re-done chrome. Her 350 over-bored engine will push the boat to 47 mph. With a beam of 7 ft, she seats three in the main cockpit. “Slightly Altered” has been designed so that a forward cockpit (mother-in-law seat) can be added. Originally listed at $65,000, the new price is $45,000. In our view, this figure must be well below the production costs of this racer.
