1935 Packard Twelve Coupe Roadster: 175 hp V12 engine. The car was first purchased by the owner of National Grocers

many of our viewers also appreciate beautiful, rare and exotic classic automobiles. There was certainly no shortage of the above at the Toronto International Car Show, one of the largest in North America. Among the plethora of new vehicles was an exhibit devoted to exotic cars and a selection of elegant masterpieces featured at the Cobble Beach, Ontario, Concours D’Elegance. This Packard had a premier “body by Dietrich” design. This is only one of six remaining such Roadsters.

1929 Duesenberg Model J Dual Cowl Phaeton. FIrst owned by Roxy Rothafel of Roxy Theatre and Radio City Music Hall. The car was restored in 1953.

Mr. Letts, a previous owner, stated that the car cruised best at 65-70 m.p.h. but that 90m.p.h in second gear is not an exaggeration! The Duesenberg was again restored in 2010.

The Duesenberg has made a number of forays into Canada and is the recipient of numerous awards.

1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe. Owned by the Cadman family since 1993. The ‘Caddy,” ,which was restored in 2014, received some modifcations from factory specs, These were undertaken by a Cincinnati coach builder, when the car was initially delivered by G.M. in April, 1941

Cadillac Coupe De Ville prototype. 1949. This custom hard top was the super star on display at the Waldorf Astoria Auto Show held in New York in 1949.. It was originally owned by the president of G.M., Charles Wilson, who went on to become Secretary of Defense for President Eisenhower.

1955 Packard Caribbean Convertible. This car is #389 of 500 built. It is powered by an OHV 352 cubic inch V8 engine. with ultramatic transmission, power brakes, steering, windows and seats…even dual heaters. “A fantastic ride.”
