Whippet a 26 ft, 1925 Ditchburn racer, reflects the extraordinary skill of the Ditchburn brothers and their staff. Built around the same time as the Dix and BIV, with the same torpedo shaped hull, Whippet’s 300 hp. 8 cylinder Hispano Suiza engine powered this gentleman’s racer to astounding speeds, particularly given her early vintage. It is another testament to the Ditchburn brothers quality and craftsmanship that this racer is still “alive and well”!
