A November visit to two Muskoka Boat Shops:
The video below features new boat building/restoration projects. Paul Hunter and his staff at Black Bird Boats have recently completed an epoxy bottom on a mouth watering Greavette Streamliner, and the team is well underway with a massive, new, twenty-eight foot cold molded Black Bird “Storm”.
Meanwhile, over on Lake Muskoka, Stan Hunter (no relation to Paul) and his son Crosley are hard at work: Stan on a new build, a twenty-three foot long deck launch using a modified Billy Johnson design, and Crosley, who’s labouring mightily on a new batten-seam bottom for a twenty foot, 1954 SeaBird. Enjoy. May thoughts of wonderful woodies warm you this winter!
